Press Release Summary:
Meeting requirements profiles stipulated by Cat 6A, har-speed M12 connectors suit applications with high bandwidths in machine and plant engineering where accelerated and safe data transmission beyond Cat 5 are desired. Products are based on PAS 61076-2-10x, which defines uniform mating face for 8-pole M12 connectors. Mating face performs 2 tasks: shielding in connector area and coding of mating face, while ensuring failsafe plugging with other 8-pole M12 connectors.

HARTING's New Har-Speed M12 Connectors Meet the Demanding Requirements Profiles Stipulated by Cat. 6A
har-speed M12 connector
HARTING's new har-speed M12 connectors meet the demanding requirements profiles stipulated by Cat. 6A! For the first time, an M12-cabling system can now be deployed for higher data performance scenarios. The new connectors are optimal for applications with high bandwidths in machine and plant engineerring where rapid and safe data transmission beyond Cat. 5 are increasingly called for. This recent development is based on the new PAS 61076-2-10x, which defines a uniform mating face for 8-pole M12 connectors. The new mating face performs two tasks: shielding in the connector area (shielded wire pairs) and the coding of the mating face, while ensuring failsafe plugging with other 8-pole M12 connectors. Overmolded variants in different lengths and a crimp connector for on-site assembly are paving the way for this new HARTING product family.
