LXE and RedPrairie Announce Solution Certification on the MX8 Rugged Handheld with Windows Mobile® 6.1


RedPraire's Retail Productivity Solution First Software to be Certified on MX8 Handheld Computer with Windows® Mobile 6.1

ATLANTA and SAN ANTONIO, May 11, 2009 - LXE Inc., a division of EMS Technologies, Inc., announced today that RedPrairie Corporation will be the first company to certify its software for use on the MX8 rugged mobile computer with the Windows Mobile® 6.1 operating system.

The MX8 handheld computer will be utilized as part of the RedPrairie Store Inventory Management, a leading web-based enterprise back-office solution specifically targeted at the Petroleum and Convenience Store industry - an industry that increasingly is expanding its retail offerings to include more in-store merchandise, food service and other services.
