Lusio Solid-State Lighting Fixtures Play Key Role in Helping Indiana Company Achieve Energy Saving Initiatives

Innovative SSL fixtures offer significant energy savings and provide solid lumen performance backed by 7-year warranties

OVERLAND PARK, Kan., April 11, 2011 - Lusio Solid-State Lighting, a worldwide brand and division of LightWild, today announced the installation of Lusio SSL fixtures at Second Harvest Food Bank of East Central Indiana.

Second Harvest Food Bank of East Central Indiana in Muncie has been helping feed the hungry in the area for 27 years. The non-profit agency was able to make energy efficient upgrades to its facility after receiving an Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant (EECBG). The EECBG program is funded through the U.S. Department of Energy (USDOE) and administered in Indiana by the Indiana Office of Energy Development (OED).

"We were thrilled to receive the grant," said Lois Rockhill, Executive Director of Second Harvest Food Bank of East Central Indiana. "The Lusio Solid-State Lighting fixtures will pay for themselves over time by helping us lower our energy bills, and every dollar we save on energy bills can go toward meals for those we serve."

The fixtures installed at the Second Harvest Food Bank are part of the Lusio Solid-State Lighting family that includes 80 models and five light distributions tailored to commercial and industrial facilities that utilize high bay, low bay, and aisle lighting fixtures.
