Product Description: Quality Lighting's Design OLV-8 and OLV-12 are characterized by a smooth-surface wedge-shaped housing
design that arcs outward at a right angle from the wall surface to which it is mounted. Units add a bold, contemporary design aesthetic to any outdoor accent and pathway lighting applicationn Two fixture sizes, a number of lamping options, and unlimited color/finish choices are available to allow design continuity throughout an installation.
OLV-8 has a 7.9-inch rectangular lens frame; OLV-12 has an 11.9-
inch lens frame. Either size unit can be mounted with the right angle ofthe lens frame oriented upward, to provide a wash of ambient accent uplighting, or the lens can be mounted to face downward to provide crisp, direct downlighting. The OLV-12 is available with forward throw optics or a choice of two controlled beam systems.
All exterior surfaces of Design OLV-8 and OLV-12 are rounded to
minimize outdoor dirt and debris build-up and present a vandal-
resistant profile. An integral spectral metal computer-enhanced
reflector system is constructed of stacked internal louvers that provide a symmetrical lighting distribution pattern with an effective projection area. A thermal-and shock-resistant tempered glass gasketed lens protects the lamp from water and debris infiltration, while reducing glare and facilitating lamp changes.
Light sources include linear shaped fluorescent, quartz, metal halide or high-pressure sodium, in a range of wattages. All Design OLV-8 and OLV-12 fixtures are UL and CUL listed for wet locations.
Construction & Finishes: Design OLV-8 and OLV-12 housings are constructed of durable die-cast aluminum alloy. The thermal- and shock-resistant lens is tempered glass, gasketed to the housing with extruded silicone to protect against water and debris infiltration. Integral reflectors feature an electro-brightened, corrosion-resistant anodized sealed finish to ensure maximum efficient light output. Textured polyester powdercoat paint is electrostatically applied to the housing, after a five-step pre-treatment process, which includes iron phosphate priming for longterm coating adhesion Paint finishes meet or exceed ASTM requirements for the 1,000-hour salt spray test. All external hardware is stainless steel. Standard finish color is black;
bronze, white, silver, gray and custom colors are available upon
request.
