New Low Voltage Class 2 Transformers Are Ideal for Halogen Lamps, Fan Motors, and Controls
Cincinnati, OH - Foster Transformer introduces a new line of Class 2 Transformers to meet the growing need for reliable, cost-effective power for low voltage circuits. These inherently limited, Class 2 Transformers are ideal for use in appliances, vending applications, and HVAC, as well as other types of circuits including halogen lamps and fan motors.
Standard models are available with capacities of 5, 20 and 50 VA, with either 60 Hz or 50/60 Hz ratings. Primary input voltages include 115 V, 115/230 V, and 200/230 V, with either 12V or 24VCT outputs. Lead wires are standard - quick disconnect tabs also available. 5-20 VA models are also available with printed circuit board mounting. Thermal fuses are standard on 20VA and 50 VA models. Each size/model includes UL Recognized Class 130 (B) insulation. IEC, EN and CE compliant designs are available. Alternate versions can be configured to meet specific customer requirements.
