The new socket allows designers to use rigorous automated soldering and washing, enabling designers to simplify board assembly. Once the socket has been processed, the SMARTSWITCH(tm) can be easily plugged into the board. Because the switch is not subjected to the rigors and heat of automated assembly, reliability and functionality are improved.
