(Schofield, Wisc.) Greenheck Fan Corp. is taking hurricane protection to the next level by offering the only Miami-Dade County tested Severe Duty Louvered Enclosure (SDLE) on the market. The SDLE meets the stringent performance requirements established by the South Florida Building Code: Miami-Dade County test protocols TAS 201 (Large Missile Impact Test), TAS 202 (Uniform Static Air Pressure Test) and TAS 203 (Cyclic Wind Loading).

The SDLE has a structural steel frame, steel curb with mounting flange and is shipped fully assembled. It protects various Greenheck powered roof top ventilators or acts as an intake/exhaust penthouse for roof penetrations. The new product incorporates Greenheck's Miami-Dade qualified ESD-603D louver.
