Updated Martel LC-110H Loop Calibrator Adds Additional HART Communication Capabilities
The new calibrator allows users to edit tags, message fields, and select PV unit
DERRY, N.H. -- Martel introduces an updated LC-110H Loop Calibrator with HART interface, a revolutionary tool that delivers improved HART communication capabilities to make it even more useful and versatile. The updated version not only provides access to the HART information in process instrumentation -- the digital guts of every HART transmitter -- but do more with that information.
The updated LC-110H Loop Calibrator adds the ability to edit both long and short tags, as well as message and descriptor fields, and select the PV unit for most commonly used transmitters. And with the optional BetaLOG HART software application, it even does sophisticated digital/analog hybrid data logging.
The digital LC-110H still features the fast, easy interface that users value: the familiar rotating knob style of operation, Quick-Set(TM) click of the knob to select a feature, and ability to make real time adjustments where the transmitter output tracks the rotation of the knob. Previous capabilities to read PV, trim analog output, adjust LRV and URV, perform PV ZERO, and download and store transmitter configurations are also included.
The LC-110H features auto-stepping and ramping, Martel's selected decade knob control for the output, valve test function, and auto-shutdown to preserve battery life. It can power a transmitter with the 24 VDC instrument power supply and its built-in 250 ohm HART load resistor can be switched on or off by the user.
The LC-110H, and the non-HART LC-110 model, both feature best-in-class accuracy of plus-or-minus 0.01 percent of reading for DC current and voltage. Their displays are a highly readable ClearBrite(TM) black on white backlit LCD. They are small enough to be operated with one hand and are so easy to carry around they can be right on the job whenever needed.
