Cooper Hand Tools Introduces Crescent® Brand Locking Pliers Line


RALEIGH, NC - MAY 7,2004 - Cooper Hand Tools has introduced a complete line of high quality, value priced Crescent® brand locking pliers with some featuring cushion grips. Crescent is one of only two manufacturers meeting ASME standards B107.24 and B107.36, as applicable, for product specifications including strength and maximum jaw opening capacity for locking pliers. The new locking pliers will be available individually and in sets.

Product Line - Individual Crescent® brand locking pliers are available in 7" and 10" straight jaw - 5", 7", and 10" curved jaw with wire cutter - 6" and 9" long nose with wire cutter - 6" or 11" locking C-clamp with regular tips or swivel pads - 8" locking sheet metal clamp - 9" locking welding clamp - and 9" locking chain clamp with an 18" chain. Four sets are also available: two-piece, three-piece, and five-piece sets, and a three-piece set with cushion grips.
