Locking Lever Switch from E-Switch Prevents Unintentional Actuation



BROOKLYN PARK, MN - The new 100 series K locking lever switch from E-Switch allows the toggle to be locked in any of three positions to prevent unintentional actuation. Optimized for rugged environments, the panel-mounted switch is intended for wide application in instrumentation, test circuits, and industrial control equipment. Featuring plated brass and stainless steel construction, the 100 series K locking lever switch has a minimum electrical and mechanical life of 40,000 cycles.

To accommodate a broad range of applications, three different functional options are available in SP, DP, 3P or 4P: ON-NONE-ON; ON-OFF-ON; ON-ON-ON. Switches in this series are available with copper alloy, silver-or gold-plated contacts. Silver contacts are rated at 5 A @ 120 VAC or 28 VDC; or at 2 A @ 250 VDC. Gold contacts are rated at 0.4 volt-amperes @ 20 VAC or VDC. Initial contact resistance is a maximum of 0.01 ohms.

Overall switch dimensions for a single pole switch are: H = 36.98 mm (1.456 in); W = 12.70 mm (0.500 in); L = 6.86 mm (0.270 in). Operating temperature ranges from -30C to +85C. Dielectric strength is 1000 VAC.
