Technology drives ability to become a player in Contract Manufacturing!
Rockford, Illinois - Since the Housing and Bank collapse of 2007 when the recession started LJ Fabricators Inc. a local Sheet Metal Job Shop has become a player in the Contract Manufacturing arena. With the acquisition of their second 4400w Bystronic Co2 Laser in 2007 sales have soared. Profits have been put back into capital equipment and Hi-Tech equipment such as two new Bystronic Brake presses were added. In 2011 a 6000w Co2 Bystronic laser was put into service; in 2012 a Trumpf 5000 CNC Punch press was added. In an ever increasing competitive market cutting edge technology is imperative to hold down cost and deliver on the customer's time frame. In 2013 they added a Disc Master machine to be able to de-burr laser cut parts more efficiently. Now in 2014 the Company has just signed to have delivered in December two more pieces of equipment that will make them the premiere sheet metal contractor in Northern Illinois. The largest wattage fiber optics laser in the country, a 6000w Bystronic fiber optics laser and a 320 Bystronic heavy brake press with voice control. Since 2008 LJ Fabricators has hired 10 full time employees. With a dedicated workforce and the Hi-Tech equipment they will be able to offer the quality and performance that manufacturing is looking for, for some time to come.
