Precision Load Cells

January 15, 2002, Depew, NY - The Force/Torque Division of PCB Piezotronics, Inc. announces a new series of high-accuracy, high-capacity, strain-gage load cells. The Series 1123 addresses load
measurements to 150,000 pounds in applications such as rocket test stands, rocket motor thrust, airframe structures, satellite refueling, structural balance, and component life cycle testing.

The units utilize a dual bridge design to provide redundant output channels for the ability to drive two readout or recording devices. Aircraft quality, premium steel construction imparts high stiffness, low deflection, and minimal extraneous load output characteristics. The robust design includes shrouded
connectors to guard against accidental damage and the provided NIST traceable calibration verifies full-scale accuracy of better than 0.05%.
