Crash Barrier Load Cells


October 1, 2002, Depew, NY - The Force/Torque Division of PCB Piezotronics, Inc., announces the release of a new series of crash barrier load cells. Series 6244 offers both single-axis and three-axis load measurement capabilities with field-proven, robust, strain-gage sensing technology in a multi-column design.

The devices satisfy measurement requirements for Frontal, Lateral, Moveable, and Stationary crash tests. Additional features include low weight, high stiffness, high ringing frequency, low cross talk, ability to withstand high extraneous loads, and a variety of full-scale ranges and configurations. Options include a variety of cable exit locations and provisions for displacement sensors.
