Calibration Class Ultra-Precision Load Cell

The Model 48 is an ultra-precision "pancake" style load cell with a pull plate and calibration adaptor to ensure high repeatability when used in a test frame. These load cells are calibrated and traceable to NIST making them ideal for most high accuracy applications, including use in the metrology lab and as a reference standard for calibrating other load cells. This rugged tension/compression load cell is designed for low creep and delivers accuracy to 0.02% across ranges from 250 lbs. to 100,000 lbs.

Standard output is 4mV/V for ranges above 5,000 lbs, with an excitation of 10VDC. This unit has amplifier options to provide 4-20mA or ±5VDC output and is also available intrinsically safe. Operating temperature is from -65° to 200°F, compensated from 0° to 150°F.

Model 48 is fully welded and manufactured from 17-4 PH stainless steel. The rugged, thin-line design features a full scale deflection of only 0.004" and an overload capacity of 125%. Industry standard mounting dimensions and excellent resistance to off-axis loading makes this one of our most adaptable units.
