LLF, Inc. Records over $1 Million in Sales in First 90 Days of Shipments
LR6 Product Recently Installed in Ohio Governor's Mansion
MORRISVILLE, N.C., Nov. 20 / -- LED Lighting Fixtures, Inc. (LLF), which develops and markets the first and only viable indoor light fixture for general illumination from LED light sources, today provided an update on its business 90 days after releasing its first product to the market. From August through October 2007, LLF recorded sales in excess of $1 million for the LR6 family of six-inch downlight products. For the period of November and December 2007, the Company anticipates approximately $1 million in additional revenue.
Mike Rogers, LLF's president said, "We are very excited about the rapid market acceptance of our LR6 downlight product. North American lighting customers clearly desire a product that will save substantial energy and contains no harmful materials for the environment such as the mercury in CFL's. The excitement of our customers is evident as we continue to see the acceleration of orders."
The Company also announced that its LR6 downlight product has been installed in the Ohio Governor's mansion in Columbus, Ohio. The Governor's residence has begun converting its lighting to high-efficiency, long-life LED technology to save energy and reduce maintenance costs and they chose LLF's LR6 product because of it has the highest energy efficiency of any product currently available and has a beautiful appearance.
According to Mike Fallon, LLF's Vice President of Sales, "We currently have 65 lighting sales agents across the United States and Canada, which represent over 300 distributors. We are particularly active in the specification community. Recent wins include high profile designs in major restaurant and hotel chains as well as commercial buildings, and schools that should drive our business into 2008 and beyond. World leading brand names and institutions including Sheraton, McDonalds, Roche Laboratories, and The Harvard Business School have purchased the LR6. Our lights have also been installed in a number of residential applications, including Governor Ted Strickland's mansion in Ohio and will soon be installed at the Chancellor's residence at the University of Arkansas. We have hundreds of sales & marketing associates presenting the LR6 every day. We are gaining traction at a remarkable rate.
