LiveU's LU200 Ultra-Small Transmission Device Gains Traction with Media Companies Worldwide
Hundreds of units being deployed by customers worldwide; enables every field camera to be equipped with a bonding uplink unit, or serve as a stand-alone video encoder
HACKENSACK, N.J. - LiveU, the pioneer and leader in IP-based live video services and broadcast solutions for acquisition, management and distribution, today announced that its recently debuted ultra-small transmission device, LU200, is gaining fast traction with customers worldwide. Unveiled in late 2014, the LU200 offers an attractive price point for a bonded solution with its high performance, and mini form-factor for live video transmission.
Weighing just over 1 Lb. (500 grams), the LU200 opens new live coverage opportunities at the same price of a single channel solution but with greater resiliency and superior video quality, and managed under a single platform, the LiveU Central.
