150 Watt Charger for E-Bikes and Electric Vehicles

Green Watt Power, a division of Calex Mfg. Co., Inc, of Concord California announces the introduction of the EVC- 42-150. This compact, cost effective 150 Watt Lithium Ion battery charger is ideal as an on-board or off-board charger for electrical vehicle applications, in particular electric bicycles. The charger measures 2.89” x 6.14” x 1.22” and weighs 0.5kg. The enclosure is rated at IP20. The operating temperature range of the charger is -10 to +45ºC. Storage temperature is -40 to +85ºC.

The EVC-42-150 has a universal AC input range of 90 to 264VAC. The constant current output is 3.5A. The output current accuracy is +/-5%. The charging voltage range is 25 to 42V. The output voltage accuracy is +/-0.6%. The output ripple and noise is 10% of Iout. The efficiency of the EVC-42-150 runs as high as 92%. Input to output isolation is 3750VAC. The EVC-42-150 is compliant with EN55014-1 Class B emissions.

The EVC-42-150 is protected by short circuit protection, over voltage protection, over temperature protection and reverse polarity protection. The unit is backed by Green Watt Power’s Two Year Warranty and has a MTBF > 200,000 hours.
