Electri-Flex Offers Flame-Retardent Flexible Electrical Conduit for Cable Carrier, Industrial Robot, And Other Continuous Flexing Applications

Electri-Flex Company offers a unique nonmetallic liquidtight conduit for continuous flexing situations, Type LNM-P. This durable conduit does not have a metal core, and will not suffer fatigue from repeated flexing or vibration. Its high quality, flame-retardant PVC material is a compound which resists oils, mild acids and exposure to sunlight. Type LNM-P is often specified for "Power Track" or cable carrier installations and industrial robots.

Type LNM-P features a layered construction in which a smooth, seamless flexible PVC core is bonded to a covering of flexible PVC. Between the layers is a woven nylon mesh for added reinforcement. The LNM-P is available in trade sizes from 3/8" through 2". It is suited for temperatures from -20°C to 60°C.

Type LNM-P is ideal for installations in certain hazardous (classified) locations and is intended for installation in accordance with Article 351, part B of the NEC (ANSI/NPFA-70) for Flexible Liquidtight Nonmetallic Conduit. It was designed for the containment of 600 volt and lower potential circuits, and is listed and marked for outdoor use. Type LNM-P is CSA certified, UL listed, and conforms to the requirements for Section 17.8 of the Electrical Standard for Industrial Machinery NFPA-79.
