Liquid Metering Diaphragm Pump is customizable.

Press Release Summary:

Delivering more than 250 million strokes over its lifespan, FMM20 solenoid-driven diaphragm pump is set to dispense accurate volumes at 20 µL/stroke or can be customized to any dosing between 5 and 25 µL/stroke. It integrates noise-suppression system for quiet-running operation, and is flow-tight in both directions for pressures at rest up to 0.5 bar. Pump can be operated up to 20 Hz to provide flow rate from 0-30 mLpm, suited for pump priming or specific operation cycles.

Original Press Release:

KNF Solenoid-Driven Diaphragm Liquid Metering Pump Accurately Dispenses over Longer Service Life

The new KNF FMM20 solenoid-driven diaphragm pump for metering liquids is factory calibrated (as standard) to dispense accurate volumes at 20 µl/stroke or can otherwise be customized by KNF for calibration to any specified dosing between 5 µl/stroke and 25 µl/stroke. Users additionally can adjust calibration in the field to any stroke within the range. This pump is engineered to serve significantly longer than the industry norm by delivering more than 250 million strokes over its lifetime. Typical applications include medical diagnostic equipment, industrial dosing systems, inkjet printers, and fuel cells, among others.

The FMM20 pump integrates a noise-suppression system for quiet-running operation and is flow-tight in both directions (sealed internally for pressures at rest up to 0.5 bar). The pumps diaphragm and patented valve system contribute reliable and high performance; stable pump characteristics enable high repeatability over the pumps entire lifetime; and low current and power consumption generate energy efficiencies. The pump can be operated up to 20 Hz to provide a flow rate from 0 ml/min to 30 ml/min ideally suited for pump priming or specific operation cycles.

Available materials for head components include PP/EPDM, PP/FFPM, or PVDF/FFPM. Pumps can be mounted easily in any position using manifold, hose barbs, or threaded ports and value-added accessories include pressure control valves, pulsation dampeners, and other options allowing for customized solutions to meet particular application needs.
