LINQ Industrial Fabrics Granted Registration of United States Trademark for Color Blue


SUMMERVILLE, S.C., June 26 / -- LINQ Industrial Fabrics, Inc. ("LINQ®"), the industry-leading manufacturer of CROHMIQ blue® static protective fabrics for Flexible Intermediate Bulk Containers ("FIBC"), was recently granted a federal trademark registration by the United States Patent and Trademark Office, Registration No. 3,097,115 for the color blue when used in connection with FIBC fabric. The trademark registration provides LINQ® with exclusive, nationwide rights to use the color blue mark for its FIBC fabric.

Static protective FIBC are used to protect packaged chemicals against combustion in situations where flammable gases or vapors are present. In the past 11 years, LINQ's CROHMIQ blue® static dissipative, Type D bulk bag fabric, has become the crucial packaging component of leading, safety focused companies throughout the world. In this period, over 25 billion pounds of chemicals have been safely transported in CROHMIQ® FIBC. The distinctive blue colored fabric is synonymous with LINQ®.
