Vernon Hills, IL- Saia-Burgess USA Inc. introduces UKE Series Linear Stepper Motors. The UKE series motors provide nearly three times the force (250N vs. 88N) of competitive models in a smaller package. They are engineered to provide a reliable, low-cost alternative solution to more expensive high-torque linear actuators.

The UKE series provides IP40 protection and are rated for thermal class "A" according to IEC 85. These linear motors can operate in ambient temperatures from -15 to +60ºC and can be mounted in any position. They provide 0.031 mm linear travel per step, maximum linear travel to 30 mm, and a maximum static force to 500N. Additionally, the motor can be stopped when voltage is applied without the danger of overheating.

The UKE series is ideal for a number of medical applications, pneumatic valve control, pump regulation and valve actuation. They are also suitable for use in large valve modulation applications, as well as in dampers for HVAC applications, among others.
