Linear Slides can be air ported from multiple sides.

Press Release Summary:

Nickel-phosphorus coated, high-strength aluminum-alloy Series FST and FSF enable maximizing payload and moment capacity by mounting bearing rail on moving member and integrating floating coupling with piston shafts. FST twin-piston design lifts loads to 580 N. FSF flat, single-piston design suits minimized space requirements. Bore sizes range from 6 to 25 mm with various adjustable strokes from 10 to 120 mm. End positioning options are available.

New Linear Rail Slides Combine Force, Strength and Precision

MORRISVILE, NC. SCHUNK, Inc has introduced two new linear slide series - FST and FSF. The slides combine high load capacity, precise guidance in an extremely compact package. The unique design enables maximizing payload and moment capacity by mounting the bearing rail on the moving member and integrating a floating coupling with the piston shafts. This ensures long seal life even under increased capacities. Ideal for long-life performance in harsh environmental applications, both the FST/FSF models are constructed of special nickel-phosphorus coated high-strength aluminum alloy.

The FST is a twin piston design for high lifting loads up to 580N and the FSF is a flat single piston design minimizing space constraints. Both are offered in 4 bore sizes from 6mm to 25mm and various adjustable strokes from 10mm to 120mm. End positioning options include: elastomer bumpers or hydraulic dampers for fluid movement even with quick cycle times.

All models can be mounted and air ported from multiple sides and many models can be directly coupled together without transition adaptors providing complete flexibility and modularity. Flush mounted fully adjustable twin magnetic proximity switches on the side of the units monitor position.
