Longmeadow, MA - New technology, self-lubricating, linear slides and table assemblies are economical, quiet, low profile, maintenance free, and easy to integrate into new and existing applications. These smooth traveling Slide Rail(TM) linear slides and table assemblies from LM76 are ideal for applications requiring smooth motion, low noise, and/or washdown capabilities such as: Packaging machines, robotics, office machines, medical test equipment, patient care devices, food processing, pharmaceutical and clean room applications, laboratory test equipment, vacuum conditions, and linear motion systems.
Dimensioned in inches, the low profile Slide Rail(TM) rails and carriages are available in three heights: 0.5625, 0.75, and 0.875 inches and in lengths of 7, 13, 19, 25 and 31 inches. A hard (60 to 70 Rockwell C) inert ceramic treatment of all surfaces of the rail and carriage assemblies protect them from caustic chemicals and oxidation while virtually eliminating wear. The bearing material is a Teflon® composite that withstands loads up to 1000 psi and has a maximum velocity of 80 in/sec (400 SFM). There are no cavities as in ball bearing slides, therefore, there is no place for contaminates to remain after washdown!
An important feature of Slide Rail(TM) linear slides is that the load bearing surfaces are at 45° angles to the mounting surface and the force of the load. This allows the user to mount Slide Rail(TM) linear slides and Slide Rail(TM) table assemblies on any horizontal or vertical plane including upside down. For easy integration into new and existing applications the Slide Rail(TM) carriage is supplied with four drilled through and tapped holes for easy mounting of a table. Slide Rail(TM) linear slide tables are sized to order, drilled and tapped, and factory aligned.
