5 Watt Linear Power Supply Has Screw Terminal Connections


Calex Mfg. Co., Inc. of Concord, California announces the availability of the CM1.5.1000 Linear Power Supply. The CM1.5.1000 provides a low noise 5 Volt output at up to 1 A. The unit can he powered by 100, 110, 220, 230 or 240VAC. The CM1.5.1000 is housed in a fully encapsulated 4" x 2.7" x 1.4"H plastic enclosure which incorporates a "step-down" barrier strip allowing all connections to be made in tight quarters while protecting the barrier strip and wires from physical damage. The special clamp style barrier strip secures the wire without twisting.

The CM1.5.1000 has an output voltage accuracy of ±0.1%. Noise and ripple is only 1 mV RMS. The CM1.5.1000 is isolated input to output. The isolation voltage is 1500VRMS. Isolation resistance is 50 megohms. Short circuit protection is provided through foldback current limiting. The CM1.5.1000 also has output voltage protection which operates between 5.8 and 6.85 Volts. Power must be removed to reset the overvoltage clamp.
