Rexroth Introduces IndraDyn L Permanent-Magnet Linear Motors

Rexroth's IndraDyn L series, a new generation of permanent-magnet linear motors, revolutionizes linear drive systems with an innovative motor concept.

For the first time, the main requirements for linear motors have been combined in a single motor concept, resulting in considerable advantages for the user and expanding the use of economic linear motors in a wide range of applications. Prominent features of the IndraDyn L motors include a high degree of both continuous and maximum output, compact design and very low force ripple.

The motors are available in various sizes and overall lengths with optional standard encapsulation or thermo-encapsulation for higher thermal stability requirements. All components provide IP65 protection, ensuring high operational reliability even under harsh ambient conditions. When combined with Rexroth controls and drives, this drive solution sets another innovative milestone on the path of direct drive developments.
