Linear Image Sensor Chips from CMOS Sensor Inc.

CMOS Sensor Inc., Cupertino, California, announces single chip packaging of several linear image sensor chips, including C106, C208, C212 and C250. The C106 features a 64x1 image sensing element, 200 dpi resolution, 125 um pixel center-to-center spacing and up to 5MHz data rate. The C208 features a 192x1 image sensing element, 600 dpi resolution, 42.15 um pixel center-to-center spacing, and up to 5MHz data rate. The C212 features a 522xl image sensing element, 1200 dpi resolution, 21.15 um pixel center-to-center spacing and up to 25MHz data rate. The C250 is a unique design, using CCD and CMOS combined with TDI technology. C250 features a 1760xl image sensing element, 7 um pixel center-to-center spacing, a resolution of 600 dpi in A8 size documents, and up to 5MHz data rate. C250 is a replacement for the CCD linear sensor in scanning devices. The above chips can be used in variety of applications, such as digital copier, scanner, bar code reader, OCR, and positioning. CMOS Sensor Inc. also provides a complete line of Contact Image Sensor (CIS) modules for different applications. (408-366-2898, Email:
