Series "BB" Direct Linear Drive Actuators


IntelLiDrives, Inc. series "BB" linear motors are designed for high accuracy, repeatability and speed, simplify system design by eliminating friction, backlash and the wear problems of lead screws, rack and pinions and other costly mechanical transmission systems required with the rotary motors.

Two piece system consists of the passive, magnet-free, stationary platen, serving as a precision linear guideway and moving forcer with built-in roller bearings. All bearings are
magnetically preloaded and do not require any gap adjustments.

Forces range from 5 to 15 lb., open loop motion repeatability 0.0001 in, travel length up to 80".

Series "BB" forcers are capable of velocities 60 in/sec, compatible with standard micro stepping indexer/drivers and offer a low cost, compact envelope linear positioning systems
