igus(R) Introduces Two New 100% Polymer Linear Bearings
EAST PROVIDENCE, RI (February 11, 2002)- Igus(R) now offers inch (Drylin(R) RJI) and metric sizes (Drylin® RJM) in it's all polymer linear bearings. These 100% polymer bearings are directly interchangeable with standard re-circulating ball bearings and offer significant cost and weight reduction. They fit into standard pillow blocks.
Drylin(R) RJI and RJM are made from the proven iglide(R) J material, the base for all DryLin(R) products. It offers a very low coefficient of friction and excellent shock and vibration dampening characteristics. Both the RJI and RJM require no external lubrication and are highly resistant to corrosion and wear. They are available from stock in standard sizes.
