New 0.9 Degree Size 23 Linear Actuators
Waterbury, CT - Haydon Switch & Instrument, Inc. (Haydon) is proud to announce that their size 23 hybrid linear actuators are now available with a 0.9 degree step angle. This new step angle is designed for higher resolution and allows for a full step linear movement of 0.0000625" (1.6 microns). Like the 1.8 degree version, this actuator is available in all four designs; captive, non-captive, external linear, and linear rotary. Combined with a stainless steel lead screw, the linear actuator delivers an extremely smooth, precise motion. Haydon's linear actuators are designed for applications that require long life, reliability, precise positioning and rapid motion.
The complete size 23 product line has resolutions ranging from 0.0000625" (0.0015875 mm) to 0.003125" (0.079375 mm) per step, with operational thrust capabilities of up to 200 pounds.
