SKF® Introduces 'Quick Delivery' Program for Custom-Built 'CAT33' Linear Actuators
Customized Solutions 'In No Time':
The new SKF® "Quick Delivery" program for CAT33 electro-mechanical linear actuators builds customized solutions using in-stock components without incurring the long lead times and higher costs typically associated with custom products. Their modular design easily accommodates a variety of standard components to satisfy specific applications without delay.
"Quick Delivery" prompts users to develop a "designation type key" by selecting base, stroke, gearing, attachments, options, and desired motor type from specified options. The resulting "key" holds all the information required to place the actuator order with an SKF authorized distributor or sales office.
Users can choose from three basic actuator models (with sliding screw for standard operation, sliding screw for high-speeds, or SKF ball screw for higher load and/or duty factors); standard or special stroke lengths; AC or DC motors; friction clutch gears, cables, and front and rear attachments; and accessories ranging from limit switches to encoders, among other options.
CAT33 actuators are ideally suited for a wide range of foodservice and industrial applications.
