Size 17 Hybrid Linear Actuator With Low Cost Encoder
HSI is proud to announce that its size 17 hybrid linear actuator is now available with a low cost encoder. The compact optical incremental encoder design is available with TTL level and quadrature outputs. An index pulse is available as an option. The encoder is offered in resolutions ranging from 50 to 1,024 counts.
Simplicity and low cost make the encoders ideal for both high and low volume motion control applications. The encoder module incorporates a lensed LED light source and monolithic photodetector array with signal shaping electronics to produce the two-channel bounceless TTL output.
Typical applications include valve control, X-Y tables, medical equipment, semiconductor handling and telecommunications equipment or wherever precise positioning, rapid motion and long life are needed. In addition to standard configurations, HSI can custom design these linear actuators to meet your specific application requirements.
