Nora Rail is UL and cUL listed to safely carry grounded 120V current. This, in itself offers a tremendous amount of design flexibility impossible with low voltage systems - voltage drop or current deterioration is virtually eliminated, allowing for longer runs necessary for commercial environments which require many fixtures on longer runs. Without the transformer requirement, the Nora Rail system can be easily dimmed.
