Lindberg/MPH Ships Single-Zone Tube Furnace to the Nuclear Power Industry

Lindberg/MPH announced the shipment of one (1) Single-Zone Tube Furnace to an engineering company in the nuclear power industry. This light industrial furnace can be used for a variety of applications, including annealing, ashing, carbon firing, ceramic firing, drying, hardening, sintering, solution treating, stress relieving, and normalizing. 

Lindberg/MPH’s line of tube furnaces are available in a variety of sizes and options. This specific Single-Zone Tube Furnace has work chamber dimensions of 9" diameter x 24" heated length. The maximum temperature rating of this tube furnace is 1200°C .

The 1200°C Large Diameter 1-Zone Tube Furnace is designed for energy efficiency. Its easy operation makes observation effortless and allows for convenient tube placement. Unique features of this light industrial furnace include:

  • Can be used with a variety of customer supplied ceramic, quartz, or alloy process tubes, as well as cylindrical atmosphere retorts available from Lindberg

  • Two-semi cylindrical heating units, one located in each furnace chamber-half, form a long split cylindrical heated chamber
