Space launch costs have been estimated to be over $40,000 per pound. Reducing weight reduces costs and may allow for more payload per launch.
In response, Positronic Industries has developed a new lightweight option to our popular space flight D-Subminiature connectors. This weight reduction is accomplished through the use of an aluminum shell as opposed to the standard brass shell.
Like their brass counterparts, these new versions are available in standard density, high density, and combination variants.
