Excellent Multi-Strike Protection for Low RF Power Wireless Communication Systems
A new lightning protector series from PolyPhaser offers state-of-the-art surge protection with multi-strike capability for broadband wireless, Wi-Fi and WLAN communication systems. The AL-LSXM series is the ideal solution for less exposed subscriber units.
AL-LSXM protectors are available with N or TNC connectors, feature a fully weatherized housing, low throughput energy and are dc Blocked. The new devices are designed for a frequency range from 2.0 to 6.0 GHz, feature, a low insertion loss of under 0.2dB, a return loss above 20dB, RF power of 10W and are surge rated to IEC 1000-4-5, 8/20µs at 10kA.
Surge throughput energy is less than or equal to 0.5µJ (6kV/3kA 8/20µs) and peak let-through voltage is ±3V (6kV/3kA 8/20µs). AL-LSXM surge protectors are designed for an operating temperature range from -40 up to +85 degrees Celsius.
