Bridgeport Fittings Adds Vaporproof Lighting Fixtures to Bridgeport Switch Product Line
STRATFORD, Conn., Nov. 1, 2007 - Bridgeport Fittings announces the addition of Vaporproof Lighting Fixtures to its Bridgeport Switch product line. Made of rugged, seamless die-cast aluminum construction that prevents moisture entry, the new lighting fixtures come in five configurations, each available with either a guard-protected clear glass globe or a tough Lexan® globe in choice of five colors: amber, blue, clear, green and red. The five configurations - all with incandescent lighting - include:
o VAX Series box mount fixtures for wall or ceiling mounting.
o VAT Series surface mount units for use with round or octagonal boxes.
o VAP Series right angle units for wall mounting.
o VAS Series pendant mount fixtures.
o VPX Series wall mount units with box.
All fixtures operate on 110/120VAC and are rated 100 watts when installed with a glass globe and 75 watts with a Lexan globe. The units are UL-Listed.
