Lamar Lighting Introduces Adjustable Length Staggered Fluorescent Stagger Strip Light Fixtures
Lamar Lighting of Farmingdale, NY, a leading manufacturer of stock and custom made fluorescent lighting fixtures, recently introduced the AST series of adjustable low-profile stagger strip lighting fixtures with integral ballasts. It offers the perfect solution for areas not easily lit by standard length lamps.
The AST series of fixtures is far more versatile than standard stagger strips, expanding up to 50% of their length without any dark spots. Once installed, the locking mechanism keeps the sliding section securely in place. These fixtures are premium grade fluorescent luminaires that were designed specifically to provide long-term, dependable service while offering the benefits of adjustable length lighting. They can be mounted with ease thanks to pre-punched holes in their ultrastrong steel housing. Optional symmetrical or asymmetrical reflectors are also available. All fixtures are UL listed.
The AST series are available in standard 2', 3', and 4' lengths, a 2.70" width, and in either T8 or T5 lamp sizes. These fixtures can be combined for extended runs of uninterrupted light. They are painted with a lighting grade white enamel having a reflectance factor exceeding 87% for quality and durability. With heights as low as 2.27" with T5 lamps, these units can easily fit into compact areas.
