Product Applications: Dome provides combination direct and indirect lighting in a contemporary, "light industrial" aesthetic, ideal for a range of commercial interior applications including hospitality, retail venues, merchandise showrooms, reception areas, dining facilities and the like.
Product Description: Dome is characterized by its prominent dome-shaped prismatic acrylic globe with polished trim ring along the bottom circumference. A narrow ringed top cap serves as ballast compartment. The columnar ballast compartment is perforated metal with evenly spaced rings that add visual interest and complement the metal band along the bottom perimeter of the globe.
Dome is 11¾-inches high and is available in surface-mounted and pendant models. Pendant models suspend from a chunky, perforated ceiling canopy via an adjustable aircraft cable.
An exceptional choice of incandescent, halogen, triple or quad tube compact fluorescent, or metal halide lamps may be specified. Each allows a broad beam of diffused downlighting to be emitted, while the prismatic acrylic surface fills with radiant illumination for a warm, indirect glow. Options such as flat or reversed domed bottom lenses and rigid suspension rods, may also be specified.
Construction & Finishes: Dome fixtures have a clear prismatic acrylic globe standard; a broad range of standard dome colors and ballast compartment finishes are available. Dome fixtures are UL and CUL listed for dry locations.
