Choice of models for measurements up 40,000Fc and 20,000Fc
Extech's Model EA30 measures from 40 to 40,000Fc (40 to 400,000 Lux) and Model EA31 measures from 20 to 20,00OFc (20 to 200,000 Lux). Both provide measurements with 0.01 resolution and 3% basic accuracy. Readings are easily seen on the large LCD with low battery and over range indications. Measurements are cosine and color corrected. The remote sensor with protective cover incorporates a precision silicon photo diode. Other features include Data Hold, Min/Max readings, and Auto Power Off. In addition, Model EA30 features a bar graph in its display, Peak Hold to capture short light pulses to 100µSec, and a Relative function for zero or difference from reference value.
