Hyster Company Introduces Brushless AC-Power E45-65Z Series
(Greenville, N.C.) - Hyster Company has created a new standard for materials handling with the launch of its AC-power E45-65Z series of lift trucks. Hyster's AC technology provides better acceleration at any speed and improved performance throughout the entire usable discharge cycle. The Hyster AC traction motor is less complex and provides superior torque, speed capabilities, reliability, and thermal performance.
The optional brushless AC hoist motor has all the same features as the brushless AC traction motor. Its simple design eliminates the need to service brushes, brush springs and motor commutators, making periodic maintenance on these items a thing of the past. This translates to lower cost, higher reliability and longer life. Hyster's brushless power steer motor provides on-demand steering for low noise and energy consumption, allowing Hyster to provide customers with a 100% BRUSHLESS truck if ordered with the transistor controlled hydraulic option. Onboard ability to adjust truck settings can be used to meet customer requirements to take advantage of enhanced levels of performance. Hyster trucks outperform other manufacturers' conventionally equipped DC and AC products in many cases. The standard "Extended Shift" Hyster AC controller setting provides the optimum balance between performance needs and battery shift life. When the "Extended Shift" setting is off, a significant increase in loaded travel speeds and acceleration rates is possible.
The E45-65Z series has a capacity of 4,500 to 6,500 pounds and features Hyster Company's unique ergonomic design. Soft-touch levers are placed within the operator's natural reach, minimizing fatigue and maximizing productivity, and both the standard non-suspension seat and the optional semi-suspension seat are easily adjusted to provide a more comfortable ride.
