New Raymond® Lift Trucks Offer Performance, Maneuverability

GREENE, N.Y. - For tough dock applications or complete dock-to-stock needs, the new Models 4100 and 4200 stand-up counterbalanced lift trucks from The Raymond Corporation are top performers. The versatile Model 4200 is designed for warehouse systems and other high-productivity applications, with load capacities from 3,000 to 5,000 lbs. The reliable Model 4100 has the power and stamina for demanding dock applications, and features a load capacity of 3,000 or 3,500 lbs.

"The three-wheel stand-up design on the Models 4100 and 4200 trucks provides a smaller turning radius for greater maneuverability and easier handling in tight spaces," says Jeff Leggett, director for counterbalanced truck products at The Raymond Corporation. "These trucks can perform right-angle stacking maneuvers in less total area, so a warehouse can switch to narrower aisles and increase storage space by as much as 10 percent."

Also available on both new counterbalanced trucks are quick disconnect couplings for attachments, making it easier to change from forks to a drum clamp, a slipsheet attachment and many other attachment combinations, in less time. When switching attachments, the anti-drip, no-leak valves eliminate messy hydraulic fluid spills.

The single-axis multifunction control handle includes Raymond's exclusive four-way switch for sideshifting the forks and tilting the mast. The switch, along with featherable attachment control buttons, allow the operator to fine-tune the movement of all hydraulic functions for smooth load handling and precise control of attachments.

The Models 4100 and 4200 trucks also include Raymond's exclusive ACR System(TM), with two powerful AC drive motors. The ACR System delivers faster, smoother operation, more uptime, more runtime per battery charge and lower maintenance costs compared with DC motors. The Model 4200 also has an AC lift motor delivering the best lift-lower speeds in the industry.

Designed for operator comfort, the Models 4100 and 4200 have many ergonomic features. An intuitive control handle provides a stable grip point. It is designed to comfortably fit the hand and help position the hand and arm in a natural and neutral position to reduce stress and enhance comfort. A spacious operator compartment with a padded backrest; a low, 8-inch step height; and an open view mast ensure operators will be more comfortable and productive throughout their entire shift.

Raymond's stand-up counterbalanced lift trucks are available exclusively through authorized Raymond dealers. For more information about Raymond's Models 4100 and 4200 counterbalanced trucks or to locate a Raymond dealer, visit www.raymondcorp.com or call (800) 235-7200.
