Lift Gate conveyors are part of Dorner's Engineering Specials Program (ESP), which gives extra attention to building conveyors with unique dimensions and characteristics above and beyond the dimensions of Dorner's regular conveyor platforms.
Some applications with conveyor lines stretching 100 feet or more pose a problem, preventing employees from easily navigating between the lines. Lift Gate conveyors solve this problem by giving employees with equipment carts the ability to simply lift up the conveyor at a pivot point, walk through and return the conveyor to its horizontal position and resume operation.
Counterweights create easy opening of the conveyor, and interlocking switches and a timer allow the conveyor to clear before the conveyor is opened, preserving full product control.
Lift Gate conveyors are available on every major conveyor platform, except the Z-shaped LPZ conveyor platform. Delivery time is typically four to six weeks from time of order.
