LFI 2016: Legrand Demonstrates New Integrated Architectural Dimming and Shading Solutions

SAN DIEGO - LIGHTFAIR International - Legrand, North America will exhibit its newest solutions from leading product lines Wattstopper, Vantage and QMotion at Lightfair International Booth #4726 from April 26-28, 2016. Legrand will present its architectural dimming and integration platform, which demonstrates how all three brands have combined their respective areas of expertise in architectural dimming, automated lighting, and shading solutions to create one ultimate system to meet customer objectives and deliver on the end-user experience.

Products in the architectural dimming platform include the Lighting Control and Automation Panel (LCAP) series and a range of unique interfaces and modules. The platform can also integrate with A/V, shades, climate, and other systems for greater user convenience, including the Wattstopper Digital Lighting Management (DLM) system for optimal energy performance and QMotion's Qadvanced Intelligent System (QIS) and Qadvanced with ZigBee HA1.2 for interactive motorized shade controls. Products that will be shown include:

--  LCAP series: Panels offer high density and fully configurable dimming

for all lighting technologies. Four versions are available to meet any

project from small to large spaces where sophisticated sequences of

operation are required. Exclusive patent pending technology allows the

dimming curve for each dimming channel to be independently customized

for starting and stopping points as well as linearity. This means smooth

dimming and consistent lighting when using mixed lighting types or

        brands.

--  InFusion Universal Dimming Module: This product provides effective

dimming control of multiple lighting sources. A key product supporting

the migration to LED lighting, the module provides exceptional support

of the widest range of lighting source types and allows lighting

professionals to seamlessly integrate lighting without compromising on

performance. The 120V to 277V module can be mounted in an LCAP main or

secondary power enclosure and controls up to eight universal loads with

up to four line feeds with 32 AMPs per module. It offers load-by-load

selectable load type (forward or reverse phase) and auto load-type

        detection.

"Lightfair is the premier event where companies show their best products and technologies for the year, and it's no different for us," said Tom Lowery, president, Building Controls Systems division at Legrand. "Exemplified by our architectural dimming platform, we continue to build on our comprehensive and proven integrated solutions to help meet every building project goal from basic code compliance to supporting advanced building networks and LED applications."
