New Torpedo Level from Klein Tools Features Heavy-Duty Magnets and Glow-in-the-Dark Vial Frames

CHICAGO, IL - February 2002 - Klein Tools has introduced a Torpedo Level, featuring a rare earth magnetic base that is five times stronger than traditional strip magnets. The unique base firmly holds the level to iron and steel surfaces, freeing the user's hands for other jobs.

The vials on the new Torpedo Level are framed with Klein's E-Z See(TM) glow-in-the-dark material for easy, accurate viewing in dimly lit areas. No batteries are required.

Other features on the new level include a strong, durable, die-cast aluminum frame with a built-in hang hole; ABS panels for lighter weight and a more comfortable grip; three acrylic vials: plumb (vertical), level (horizontal) and 45-degree angle; a special top-read level window for easier viewing in confined
areas; and a V-grooved edge for pipe and conduit work. The Torpedo Level is nine inches in length and fits easily in a back pocket or tool pouch.
