Pressure Systems Adds Temperature Output Option To Its Submersible And Above Ground KPSI(TM) Level Transducers

Hampton, VA, October 2001 -- Pressure Systems, Inc., a leading manufacturer of submersible and above ground transducers, has added a temperature output option to its extensive line of KPSITM level transducers. The new option enables the transducers to monitor the temperature of the measured process in addition to measuring level and pressure. The temperature output option is ideal for a wide range of tank and well level control and monitoring applications including oil and gas, as well as water and wastewater.

Available on transducers with 2 wire, 4-20 mA output and supply voltage ranges from 9- 30 VDC, the new feature can be selected for the following submersible and above ground KPSI level transducers: Series 700, 710, 720, 730, 735, 27, 28, 30, and 35. Operating ranges of applicable transducers are 0°C through 500C (32°F through 122°F) and -20°C through 600C (-40F through 1400F). Transducers with the temperature output option also carry UL, FM, and CSA approvals as standard.

Pricing for a transducer with the temperature output option is $117. Delivery is 5 days ARO.
