Switching, sensing and control solutions specialists Gentech International have introduced a new version of their ESS extended liquid level sensor providing an analogue output for control and instrumentation applications.
Ideal for critical applications requiring for precise level signaling, the new ESS features 4-20mA, 24VDC output loop proportional to the liquid level, also offering an independent voltage free contact for low level alarm.
Providing a continuous/analogue output through a single float traveling its length, the Gentech ESS liquid level sensor is suitable for use in applications for all forms of storage tanks, for water, oil and fuel.
The sensor combines the proven reliability of magnetic reed switching with resistors networked to provide a variable output proportional to the float position.
The sensor features 2-wire resistance output - or 4-wire for low level alarm option - a brass stem up to 1 metre in length and can be fitted internally via M16 connection or externally via an SAE flange or Mounting Bush.
Gentech ESS extended liquid level sensors offer both brass and stainless steel and a variety of output option with an operating temperature range of -30°C to +120°C.
