LEDs Light the Way!! Why the World is Switching to LED Lighting

I still remember the first time I heard a light bulb pop. That pop sound and the splash of glass echoing for a few seconds. Perhaps I am giving too much insight to my age here but lights sure have changed over the years! I remember years ago wondering why we couldn't use LED (Light Emitting Diodes) instead of conventional bulbs. The release of low power florescent bulbs became popular through the late 1990s and 2000s. What a savings too! From using 40, 60 or 90 watts per bulb down to 12,14, or 20 watts. No offense to anyone that loves the glow of a florescent bulb but man what ugly bulbs and equally bad lighting... well that's my opinion and I'm sure there are plenty of backers to it.

Through the years we have seen the rapid development and growth of LED Bulbs. A somewhat nicer looking bulb, a better light and an energy savings of 40% to 80%.

1-Source Electronic Components of Yaphank NY with offices in The US, Central America and Europe picked up on this in 2013 and started to distribute for manufacturers such as Zenaro Lighting, Ledtronics and Solmar Lighting. Offering a range of cost effective solutions to Offices, Factories, Malls, Airports, Streets, Stores, and more. With the emergence of new designs like the filament style LED Bulb 1Source may soon enter the residential market as well.

It's estimated that within the next 5 years 85% of Lighting will be LED.  It has grown rapid popularity in Europe, Central America and South America, and is picking up steam in the United States and Canada.

"I was excited by the opportunity to offer a product that makes for a better work environment, Saves clients money , And Saves our Planet" Says Richard Lodato President of 1-Source Electronic Components.

1Source for more than 13 years has provided electronic parts including LCD Displays, Connectors, Semiconductors and more. LED Bulbs is a nice fit for their clients but really for everyone. Likely LED Lighting will evolve through the years as it is starting to rapidly now. With the concerns of a global energy crisis looming among many LED technology will likely grow and expand to many areas of use.
