1500 Watt Explosion Proof LED String Light Set Released by Larson Electronics
Larson Electronics has added to its extensive range of industrial grade lighting equipment with the release of a 1500 watt explosion proof LED string light set. Featuring ten 150 watt LED lights, each light is equipped with I-beam clamps for temporary mounting.
This Class 1 Division 1 & 2, Class 2 Division 1 & 2 explosion proof string light set provides 130,000 lumens of high quality light while drawing 1500 watts of power. This explosion proof string light set contains a total of ten 150 watt work lights equipped with I-beam mount clamps and connected in series along 180’ of 12/3 SOOW cable. Each light is evenly spaced along the 180’ backbone and junction together with 20’ of cable between each light. The cord on this unit is terminated with a 5-15, 5-20, or 6-20 explosion proof plug for complete protection. A 65’ tail section of main SOOW cord is included to allow ample length for connection to power sources. These lamps can be moved around and mounted to different points within the work area but must remain within 20’ of one another. Each fixture is equipped with a CNC waterjet cut aluminum frame constructed of 1/8” thick aluminum to help protect the fixture form accidental damage in the field. An aluminum wire guard with 2” spacing protects the face of the fixture. Â
This light is universal voltage capable and can be operated with 100-277 volts AC without any modifications. The aluminum body and LED lamp give this string light set excellent durability and resistance to vibration and impacts. The housing of each unit is specially designed to dissipate heat which increases the efficiency and lifespan of the LED luminaries. This explosion proof LED string light set is IP67 rated, dust-proof, and protected against high pressure jets and temporary submersion. The cast aluminum housings, tempered glass lens, and abrasion resistant cord make this a very durable unit that will resist damage from chemicals, abrasion, vibrations, and impacts. This string lighting solution will provide the lighting required in a flexible, easy to manage configuration for job site illumination.Â
