LED Ring Light for Microwelding Microscopes
A new, LED light ring for use with micro- and laser-welding microscopes that provides bright illumination without heat or bulky fiber optic cables is being introduced by NovaTech, Inc. of Smithfield, Rhode Island.
The NovaTech Universal LED Ring Light features 60 superbright LEDs, aligned in a two row pattern, that are angled to fully illuminate the work space and mounts onto a microscope using three thumb screws. Providing bright, evenly distributed white light, it includes a 110 VAC power supply with variably adjustable brightness, and a flexible cord that stays out of the way.
Featuring brightness comparable to fluorescent and fiber optic ring lights, without the expense and bulky cables, the NovaTech Universal LED Ring Light lamps' color temperature is 6400K and the rated lamp life is 17,000 hours. An adaptor that fits most Olympus SZ and Nikon SMZ Series fixed microscope heads is supplied. The power supply measures only 4"W x 5"D x 1-3/4"H.
