The RL56 series installs into 5-inch and 6-inch recessed housings and offers up to $300 in energy savings over the life of the LED fixture.

PEACHTREE CITY, Ga., – Cooper Lighting, an industry leader committed to delivering innovative products and driving transformational technology in the lighting industry, has introduced the Halo RL56 LED Retrofit Baffle Trim. Designed to fit into both 5-inch and 6-inch compatible housings, the all-in-one recessed baffle trim with an integrated LED module consumes only 9.4 watts while delivering over 600 lumens, comparable in light output and distribution to a typical 65-watt BR30 lamp found in most recessed downlights. The fixture can provide up to $300 in energy savings and is expected to last 22 years (based on six hours daily use at $0.11 per kilowatt hour).

Suitable for new construction, remodel and retrofit installation, the Halo RL56 series is designed to fit into both 5-inch and 6-inch standard and shallow downlight housings by Halo (H5 and H7 series) or other 5-inch or 6-inch compatible recessed downlight housings. Providing excellent color quality with a rendering of 83 CRI and a warm, white color temperature of 3000K, the Halo LED RL56 Retrofit Baffle Trim features a convex lens that provides uniform illumination and has the familiar appearance of a BR lamp.

The Halo RL56 series is available in either Matte White or popular designer Satin Nickel and features an integral LED driver offering 120 volt dimming capability. The dimming capability allows it to be dimmed down to 15 percent with standard dimmers and 5 percent with select dimmers. The Halo RL56 series is designed to deliver long life with greater than 70 percent of initial lumens at 50,000 hours.

The LED baffle trim features easy installation with included adapter and torsion springs or optional 5-inch and 6-inch friction blades.

ENERGY-STAR® qualified for both commercial and residential applications, the die-cast construction makes any housing AIR-TITE™ for added HVAC savings and code compliance. The series is also wet and damp location listed (protected ceilings), RoHS compliant, and can be used for IECC-International Energy Conservation Code, WSEC-Washington State Energy Code and California Title 24 High Efficacy compliance with designated LED housings.
